Early July is the perfect time to forage for summer mushrooms, herbs and immature black walnuts. Join me for a fun day out in nature while we identify various edible, medicinal and poisonous fungi and herbs, gather black walnuts for cocktail concoctions and discuss local laws and sustainable harvesting techniques. The walk will be followed by a drink tasting featuring black walnuts (nocino, molasses, vin de noix). While we sip and sample, we will review how you can make the same delicious recipes at home!
