Mushroom Foraging Walk

Interested in learning how to identify medicinal plants, trees and other delicious local wild edibles? Join me on a relaxing walk in the woods, followed by a delicious meal featuring local wild edibles! This class is perfect for the nature lover, home cook, foodie, forager, herbalist or outdoor enthusiast.
We will review various edible plants and fungi, discuss sustainable harvesting and local laws, review edible invasive species and collect specimens to study and incorporate into our picnic. Learn 15-20 edible/herbal/medicinal species that are available now and take some home with you to enjoy! The walk will last approximately two hours.
