Interested in learning how to identify medicinal and edible herbs, trees and other delicious local wild foods? Join me on a relaxing walk in the woods! This class is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast, nature lover, home cook, beginner forager, herbalist, or someone just looking to enjoy a day out in the woods with fun people.
While walking we will also identify various wild edibles perfect for making your own teas, syrups and sodas, discuss sustainable harvesting techniques and local laws, review invasive edible species and collect specimens to study/taste. Learn 10-15 edible species that are available now.
After the walk, we will review how you can make your own wild sodas and teas with unique flavors from the forest while sampling some of my own concoctions.
