Join me on a relaxing walk through fields and woods! Summer is the perfect time to get out into nature and learn about the abundant wild greens, fungi, edible invasive species and flowers available in New England. Norwell offers an array of delicious treats including sorrel, sweet fern, mugwort, turkey tail mushrooms, wintergreen, birch tips, yarrow and summer fungi.

This class is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast, nature lover, home cook, beginner forager, herbalist, or someone just looking to enjoy a day out with fun people.

While walking we will also discuss sustainable harvesting techniques and local laws, review invasive edible species and collect specimens to study/taste. Learn 20-30 edible species that are available now.
