Late fall is the perfect time to gather nuts, roots, tubers and hearty fruits! Numerous trees, herbs and shrubs are at peak and offer deliciously unique flavor combinations perfect for vinegars and shrub drinks. Come out and explore your local forests and fields with me as we enjoy nature before the holiday craze.

We will review various edible plants, nuts and fungi available in the late fall, discuss sustainable harvesting and local laws, review edible invasive species and collect specimens to study and incorporate into your own vinegar and shrub creations. Learn 15-20 edible/herbal/medicinal species that are available now.

After the walk, join me for a shrub and vinegar/pickle sampling, along with an overview of how to make your own at home.

*Please note: If rain/weather is an issue on the event date, a rain date will be emailed out to registrants.
