Interested in learning how to identify medicinal and edible plants, trees and other delicious local wild foods, while making great new friends? Join me on a relaxing walk in the woods! This class is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast, nature lover or home cook, beginner forager, herbalist, or someone just looking to enjoy a day out in the woods with fun people.

We will identify various wild edibles, discuss sustainable harvesting techniques and local laws, review invasive edible species and collect specimens to study/taste. Learn 10-15 edible species that are available now.

As we walk, we will review how you can make your own wild sodas with unique flavors from the forest. We will also gather ingredients during the forage so that you can make your own at soda home. I will be bringing a number of dried herbs and flowers to aid in your creations.

The walk will be followed by a wild soda tasting!

*Please note: If rain/weather is an issue on the event date, a rain date will be emailed out to registrants.
