Interested in learning how to identify tasty salt marsh edibles and flowers? Join me on a relaxing walk along the salt marsh during low tide! This class is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast, nature lover, home cook, beginner forager, herbalist, or someone just looking to enjoy a day out with fun people.

We will be visiting one of my favorite spots to collect delicious salt marsh edibles like samphire, sea beans, beach roses, seaweeds and more. While walking we will also identify various snails, whelks and shellfish, discuss sustainable harvesting techniques and local laws, review invasive edible species like green crabs and collect specimens to study/taste. Learn 10-15 edible species that are available now.

*Please make sure to wear knee-high boots, as your feet may get wet.
