March Foraging Walks

march foraging class - boston, ma

Spring seems to have come early this year and I couldn’t be happier! The lack of snow and warmer temperatures have encouraged many delicious wild spring edibles to awake from their winter slumber.

Spring onions, garlic mustard, chickweeds, evening primrose, cleavers, nettles, wintercress, bittercress, wood sorrel, burdock roots and Jerusalem artichoke tubers are all available right now, in addition to the last few weeks of syrup tapping season. It is the perfect time to learn and explore!

This month, I am offering two public foraging walks, both focused on edible and medicinal plants and trees that are available right now. These walks will be held in Newton, MA.

I hope to see you there! If you can’t make it to either event, don’t worry, I will continue adding events and updating my blog with any news.
