Capping Off 2023 with a New Video and a New Contest!
If you came out to foraging with me this past year, either on a private tour or public event, you may have noticed a tall, slender gentleman sticking to the back of the pack, quick with a silly sounding laugh and always holding a small camera in his hand. His name is Jon, a talented videographer I met way back in 2005 while we were both students at Emerson College (pictured left, in the black t-shirt). We became fast friends and faced the perils of life in Los Angeles and careers in the entertainment industry together as roommates.
Needless to say, he knows me better than most. Because of our long history (or maybe in spite of…!), I knew he was the perfect person to film my very first foraging video.
For 6 months, from May to November, Jon tagged along on many of my outings, capturing gorgeous shots and wonderful memories. Hours of footage logged, miles of ground covered, all edited down to 1 minute and 10 seconds, for your viewing pleasure!
